Good price for a WW kit? Need advice.

I just found a full WW kit available in Brooklyn for $670 shipped (I think I may me able to talk him down to $600-650. Is this a good price for the kit unpainted? Anyone know any better places where I can get a better deal on one shipped painted/unpainted? Would you agree it's better to get the kit painted locally?

check ebay. im poretty sure they have it on there and compare that price to the one from that dude.

i would say its better to get it painted locally... that way they can color match it to the car. if you recieve it painted, it may not match 100%.

Found this online Google search: http://store.yahoo.com/streetbeatcus...l99wtyp4p.html I bought mine from a local shop and had it painted local. Some deals on Ebay sometimes too. I bought my spoiler painted from Ebay and it matched good though.

Sounds nice, but what's the average price range for one now?? I would figure they'd go down due to the new body style in 04, etc... I'd really only like to spend $700 to get it shipped, painted, and put on.

Nearly impossible. a decent paint job on the kit alone will cost at least $500...

Correction : $500 for kit unpainted and about $300 for the paint so $800 total... Not too bad you think?

HAHA!!! YOU ALL GOT THIS WW KIT SHIT WRONG...listen up...for like the 5th time too!

starters: 700for the kit shipped sounds a bit expensive...you should not pay much over 600 for it shipped

Hard stuff: Once you get it...its a LOT OF $$ for priming/prepping = $300+ MINIMUM (this is damn raw polyurethane - soft, elastic and fluffy) THEN, its atleast $400+ for painting and labor...plus another $200 for installation

An a-TL'er not long ago said he has an estimate to prime/paint/mount the kit AND the spoiler...very unreal price, i hope you find this too. But, you're looking easily at $900-1200 to get the kit done ONTOP of watever the kit costs you.

Not so interested going WW now eh...i got mine painted from ebay for 995shipped in feb 04. Prices come from research/working on my friend's ww kit which he got for 499shipped from ebay around march 04.

if you want more detailed info i'll be glad to share info

then it'll will never happen. If you can get it for $500 shipped...estimate another good ~ $1000 to prime/paint and put on. Read the post prior to this and you'll see why

Yeah I agree $500 is a decent price for the unpainted full kit and I'm guessing I'll be spending at least $600 for a good paint, labor, and bolt-on. Does it need to be molded on?

I have a dent on my rear bumper, i am about to install my ww kit. Should i fix the bumper before i install my kit or I can always do it later. I mean like they can take off the rear kit in order to work on my rear bumper.. The reason i havent fix it yet is becuase of money.. Cost 500 to repaint.. any advice?

Basically my concern is once i have my kit install and then i have the money to fix my rear bumper, is it necessary to take of the rear kit or it is ok to be taking of the rear kit and then putting it back on? I guess they would have to do this in order to work on the bumper

i THINK the rear lip uses double sided tape, so they would have to remove the tape (which can be a PAIN in the ass). i would say just get it fixed and then put the lip on.

well its hard to do in my situation. Because someone was going to put it on for me. Do u think the kit would look wierd without having the rear put on for the time being until i get it fixed?

how hard is it to install a kit for the TL?
I mean, $200 for install? holy crap!!!!
I'm just saying... when I installed the Stillen kit for my maxima, I just went to ACE hardware and bought bolts, brackets and polyurethane bushings for the kit and installed it in about 1 hour. Drilled holes...etc... took it all apart took it to paint shop and got kit painted for $200, installed it back on. done.

To install the body kit is only about $100, but you can do it your self in about an hour or two.
