Try and talk them down some more and put away $2000 in a tranny savings account and you got an EXCELLENT deal !

Well, It depends if the tranny will hold up, since your past the 100K drivetrain warranty. Not saying that it will fail but a thing to be concern about . Mine is past the warranty also but I im trying to maintain it the best i could even some say that it will fail no matter what you do. So basically if you get it, hope for the best.

sounds like a very good deal actually. you dont have to worry about tranny problems with the '99s. I mean it could happen just like in any other car, but not like the 5 speed in the '00-'03 TLs.

Do you have a carfax on this car? If not, I can run one for you.

Sounds ok/depends on the shape it's in and whether it has been BEAT! Mine 99TL Navi ONLY 38,900, 80 yr old Retired couple had it. Original Tires with tread left on em, so I knew they didn't drive it hard. It was garaged and in MINT and I mean MINT condition. All maintenance done on schedule and the 30,000 Honda Garage service was just done at 35,000. So had new cabin Air Fiilters etc. It was a deal I couldn't pass up. Paid $11,000 Sept. 2005.
