carbor fiber hood on ABP ...

good?
or bad?

 

too nice fo a car for a carbon hood IMO

 

not bad, if you are doing it for weight savings.....and its painted ABP to match..

i got into car accident last night.. my front bumper and hood are f#(*ed up.
but didnt get any frame damage.

since im gonna do that with my insurance, i was thinkg about getting carbon but i kidda dont understand what's painted carbon..
is it just carbon with my body paint?
i cant picture it how it;s gonna look like..
any pictures??

Here's a chop Rondog did for me over the summer when I was considering it and I didnt like it. What we mean by paint match is keep the middle section carbon fiber and the sides body color..

I think it would look cool if you painted almost the entire thing, and left a small portion or it unpainted..

but im thinking should i go for it or go for projector with angel eye.

i would do the projectors.........i had a set of tsx projectors sitting for months and i haven't had a chance to do mine.......

my buddies got an old legend,prbly like what 94? somewhere round then not sure. anyway, hes like a head mechanic, knows his stufff, loves the car, that baby is in mint shape. lol he actually swapped a 6 speed tranny into it when his first one died. anyway, its got a great black paint job, and the carbon fiber hood he has on it makes it loook soo hottt!. so i think on a black tl would be nice, but dunno bout the others

Yeah on my green it looked like ass..I wouldnt do it but on an ABP or WDP as you see it looks great.

 

Really quick chop SSM with silver carbon fiber, I also through in some fogs.

that's what I'm sayin'. However, a little weight off the front would be nice. maybe the paint to match . . .
