Im gonna wax my car this weekend for the winter. I usually use Megiuar's. Anyone recommend anything else for the winter? This will be the last wax before spring. Any suggestions?

 

Assuming you already have a few coats of Meguiars, I would stick with that. Should be good for the winter. Make sure you do a few coats on the lower panels. The salt eats them up.

Also wax your wheels really good too.

 

Thanks Neil. Thats probably what im going to do. Salt sucks. I think im going to put my mudflags back on for the winter too.

Yep IM gonna get a set of acura mudflaps put on --- gonna wax my car hopefully this week i think its the only week with warm temps (haha 56....)

yeah i know i didnt think i was going to get any warmer, so i might as well take advantage of the nice weather.

 

Its okay to wax your car right now before the winter? Really? i thought you couldnt wax your car around wintertime? Is Zainobros or Meguirs better wax for the wintertime? Which is better for the money? Should i need to wax my 01 since it still has that clear coating on it? I might have to wax mine this weekend too if i can, can I since i still have the clear coat on it??
