Get it somewhere else...Get a new HID kit from a site like ddmtuning or one of the azine vendors...Way cheaper than oem and will work the same.

lol... daamn it i wish i would of started useing my account! ahaha well i did pay a shit load for just one ballast was like 250.00 plus tax so like 300.00 just one week of having my tl. headlights were brand new but the used car lot i bought from did not put the seals for low and high side. so i bought the seals for the side that leaks all the water into that ballast. my friend told me for 300 he would of sold me two ballast and two igniters for that price

 

i also... bought a dr2 blub for 90 i ended up returning that one cause my factory one was still good.. plus i got a spare that was in the trunk. i threw it away and was like uh i unno maybe i should keep it so i was kept it. i tested everything and it was the ballast i swaped it one over to the other side and it worked.

 

now i think im in need of a driver side upper control arm.

 

you're wasting too much money. with that money, i could've done alot to fix my tl up.

for hid bulbs and ballast, i always go to ddmtuning. hid kit is only $42~ shipped for me. but i'm lucky cause they're locally stationed in socal so i just go in, order, pickup the same day.

bulb replacements in your case for your low beams are only $12 for a pair. i just bought 5k's for my low beams and love them. HID kits are typically all the same. why spend more? keep in mind, ddmtuning offers lifetime warranties on their hid kits!

goo steelers lol jp. i was thinking of getting those kits but i didnt know to install them or if they were like oem or whatever something kinda detured me away from getting an aftermarket kit? i guess i was just kinda scared and wanted it fix the right way. me and my friend went ahead and fixed it tho so it was aiite i learned how the hid's worked and stuff

 

i figure dont you have to cut anything for those kits... maybe knocks on wood but hopefully i will never have to replace them for a while
