Very nice looking install.

I use to run the EPX2 myself back in the day. Still one of the greatest EQs on the market, just wish the xover had a little better slope (24 dB/oct or more).

Your front stage is pretty wild, I had thought up something similar to that for my front stage.

Very, very nice car.

I would be running the Audio Control DQX if the RDAT would've been out last October. The Symmetry works great with the 28 band EQ and as a line driver. I'm only using the crossover in the symmetry between the mids and midbasses. I'm using passive or amps on the other points. A 12db slope there from the EPX2 is what I needed. So, I guess it's all in application. Rockford had their head way far up their butt when they decided to quit making the EPX2 and replace it with the 5.1 processor that is an absolute piece of crap.

Did you try kick panel pods or anything before locating the midrange and tweet in the a-pillar?

Yeah...I had a 99 Accord...pretty much the same interior layout and pathlengths...except for the top of the dash. That's where the TL was better. The dash is so low in our cars that anyone over 6'3's knees will block the pass side kick completely. My other two cars were kick panel cars. One had mid and tweet in kick and the other had mid in the kick and tweet in the dash.

That is what my theory was on the car as well. At first I wanted to do some horns, but I think I may run the same route you did.

I am trying to figure a way to show-horn a shallow 8" in the front doors without have the door look like an 8th grade science fair project.

I can't remember what the article said, but was it Auto Audio that did your install?

I can remember a guy from down there and I thought he worked/owned that place. Had a black Tahoe?

Laguna green, nice pearl in the sunrise huh?!...that's my car in the Spet Issue of CA&E...and in the Mobile Electroincs June issue.
Thanks for the comps.
And Audio Express did the install. Auto Audio is in Little Rock (just up the road) Mark Rainey at AE does better work so I took it to him. I know Ross GLover that owns AutoAudio though.
The car is FOR SALE if anyone knows anyone that may be interested...I'm proud to annouce that my wife and I have a baby on the way! SO, I'm ditching a hobby for a better priority.

I keep checking www.caraudiomag.com, they haven't updated their site yet...the feature will be there also from what I understand. I have all of the originals on the pics...but they're 15megapixel shots...so the files are huge to say the least.
