yeah i'd have to agree...the six disc in the trunk...it's kinda hard to change CD's in the changer and drive...just change the one in the face...

id put it in the glove box, if it was possible without too much cutting. but then your risking having the changer skip all the time

Cool

Go with the trunk mount. Check the price of a 12 disc changer. If it is not out of your budget, I'd recommend a 12 disc instead of a 6. You'll enjoy 'double' the capacity without doubling the price.

Mine's mounted under the passenger seat. I like it there because no one knows I have one. I just move up the seat and change cartirdges whenever I want to I don't even have to get out of the car.

The glovebox....
I've got mine there with minor cutting. It's easy to change cartridges and still put one in the cd player if it's new or you just want to change one and not the whole cartridge..........

Post Glove Box- or Trunk Mounted CD Changer: What'd YOU Choose and Why?

I'm installing a CD changer soon. Don't know which is better, trunk mounted or glovebox. Any suggestions?

I have my stock 6 disc changer in the trunk (of course). I wouldn't give up my glove box for anything. I wouldn't like this setup at all if I didn't have the Bose CD player in the dash becuase I like to be able to change CD's whenever I want without having to go into the trunk to load the magazine.

Thanks, guys. Decided the trunk is best for me. Put the changer in the glove box and voila -- NO room for NUTHIN' else. Oh well...
