Unhappy Give it back

How can we come up with so many problems that the dealer would give us a new car? Is that even heard of? Drop your thoughts??

I have a friend who bought a brand new 2002 NBP TLS about 8 months back and when he bought it he noticed there were swirl marks or lines in the paint which I guess is common on Black cars, anyways he asked the dealer if they would be able to take the swirl marks off and they said yes, it was written on paper when he got the car, 8000 miles later he goes in to have them fix the swirls and they say all they can do is repaint the car which would decrease the value of the car he didn't want to do that so after much going back and forth and dealing with the manager there he left with a brand new WDP TLS. So I guess it can happen but I guess it has to be written on paper.

In our state, if a car has to be repaired three times in one year for the same problem, it qualifies as a lemon, and you have a right to ask for a replacement car.

It's a little more complicated than that...there are time elements involved as well. Then there is the time involved in actually filing the Lemon Law lawsuit. I negotiated with my dealer rather than go this route and got $28k for my '02 tl-s/navi with 17k miles on a buy-back.

No lawsuit necessary, this is our state's lemon law.

A dealer can lose their license if they don't abide.

You will still need an attorney to file the suit...

''If you feel that you have a possible lemon law or automotive fraud case, you should immediately contact an attorney who specializes in your type of case, to determine exactly what your rights are under your state's laws. Remember, any delay could harm your case. ''
