Getting my Tein installed tomorrow

I know this question has been asked many times but.....

How low should I set it, so when the springs settled, so that I won't need a camber kit?

I'm thinking 1.75 front, 1.5 back? or 1.50 front, 1.25 back?

Thanks

1.75" front and 1.25" (or 1.5") rear sounds good to me.

well if you don't mind removing the back seat again after the initial install you can try diff. heights and drive around for a week or so to see which fits/feels the best. what's the point of getting adjustable coilovers if you aren't going to try different settings? just a thought.

tein SS you have, asianrage?

Yes, I have the SS. The adjustable dampening level was what attracted me to it. I'll just set it @ 1.75/1.5 and see.

All righty...

I LOVE IT! The car handles better than stock, with the overall ride quality remaining the same as the day I drove out of the dealership. I asked to get it lowered 1.75 in the front and 1.25 in the back, and get this, the installer said, "I'll lower it down to the "SPORT" setting". Now I have 1 finger gap in the back and barely 2 ginfer gap in the front. The stance is awesome looking, emitting a tight pulled-together look, kinda like the H&R sport .

No pics for now since it's too late. I'll get some tomorrow and post it for all to see.

but i think you should get an alignment done in the next week or so (if you intend to stick with the current adjustments)

I'm thinking that perhaps I should raise it up .5 inches just so I might not have to worry about camber issues and what not.

Mostly in seattle. The highways and byways are pretty good. Beside, I consider the slammed look to be a bit ricey and the car might end up looking just a bit like so.

Holy hot shit, I love your car. Black is such a beautiful color when it's clean. I don't regret not getting black, but it is a gorgeous color on our cars.

I got them through blxmjx from the a-cl forum for 875 shipped last tuesday.
It should have been only 850, but I was paying with paypal (thus the extra money) since I really wanted to have it shipped out and arrive (at most) by Friday. Installed it on Saturday, took pics Sunday and aligned it today.

A whirlwind of an event I must say.
