getting bummed
my side airbag light goes on and off at complete random times 00TL-p should i be worried?--- this has nothing to do with the kids on the bike or my stereo install. waiting to get rich on those.
Mine did the same and I called the dealership. They asked if I had anything in the seat like a bookbag or groceries. I was on the road at the time and I did have my workbag there. They told me the sensors are designed to shut it off for kids so to remove the bookbag and it will stop. They were right in my case.
Sounds like no one here has read the owners manual, or been on this board all that long.
Small items placed on the passenger seat, or a very light passeneger or one who is not sitting upright can cause the side airbags to deactivate

Thanks for your interest, yes I am pretty new here and no I havent read the owners manual. Since I bought mine used it didnt come with a manual. I am waiting for over a month on the dealership to get one from helminc.com but they keep giving me the runaround. No I am not gonna buy one from ebay where I could get it within days since they are paying for it and have it ordered.
Instead of acting like a pretentious forum hall monitor why dont you stick to giving advice and leave the bad jokes to Puff Daddy.

I was just making an observation on a topic that has been covered many times. I wasn't trying to be pretentious, or condescending at all. If I was, I could have certainly done better than that.
For example, many members like replying with
(the old read the fucking manual smilie), or the
smilie to tell you to search our boards for a topic that has been discussed many times. Which is why we have a thread stickied on top of this forum regarding searches. I assume neither of you bothered to read it, or chose to ignore it. If the guidlines of the people who help run this forum in their own free time are too hard to follow, we can easily remedy the problem, and no I am not talking about having a hall pass next time. Your advice on how to perform my duties is appreciated :noob: , but I think I have a handle on it already, so heres your
back. Here's some advice for you two; it applies here, and in other areas of life as well. As an
, its a bad idea to start off on the wrong foot with the more well established members, and of course the higherups. Thats especially true when you do so with completely wrong assumptions. After all, you know what they say about assumptions. You also might want to try and have some thicker skin on these forums. If you could get so riled up by my comments...........Well lets just say, "you aint seen nothing yet"
Welcome aboard
