getting air out of coolant/cooling system
hey sup guys
i recently installed a Mugen thermostat along with their Fan switch... but air got into the system cuz my temp needle goes up and down sometimes...
it'd be great if someone could tell me the procedure to remove the air stuck in there... i know i have to take the cap off, and squeeze lines and shit like that.. but i'd like to have detailed instructions...
thanks in advance!

Take the cap off.
Start the car and let it idle.
Keep squeezing the main coolant hose and you will see bubbles coming out of radiator.
That's it. Easy. Just lay down some towels around the radiator so it doesn't spill into the engine bay and start smoking later.

Just make sure not to squeeze too hard, because the coolant can come up and spill out.
You will have to do it for a few minutes at least, because you have to wait for the air pockets to circulate and come around.

it may take till the thermostat opens and is able to run coolant thru the engine.
i havent looked on our cars but some actually have a little screw you can turn by the thermostat to release air (its designed to open durring refill to make sure you dont get air in the system)
