don't say fuck george bush. say fuck EVERY stupid president who did NOTHING to stick the screws to OPEC and all the other exporters. as of tonight, in beacon, ny:

89 - $3.19
93 - $3.29

oil is the only commodity on earth that no longer follows supply and demand because we fucking let it. fuck every president for never doing anything to nip it in the bud. every president. that's right, i said it, and you know i'm right. "no war for oil" they say. oh yeah? well where's my fucking oil now??!! (ps - im drunk so i'm pretty pissed off because when i went to the bar this evening 93 was only 3.09, when i left it was 3.29.) fuckers.

$2.65 for 93 in Baton Rouge, LA....No 91 octane here. Also, lay off Bush, it is so easy to paint the problem with such a broad brush.

cry babies... think of what the europeans are going through... the only happy gas consumin' folk are the arabs right about now. also, remember todays oil supply/demand margins are super tight, so any little bump in the road will be felt for miles and miles.

Heres the gas in Georgia it raised from $3 to $6 in the same day! and YES AMERICAN DOLLARS!!

Also from my first post from yesterday, i passed a CITGO on RT. 13 North New Castle DE
Regular $3.12
Mid Grade $3.25
Premium $3.37

I want to know What the fuck is going on around here, why doesnt bush just say fuck iran or iraq and get our oil from here, if you all didnt know the reserves we have are in alaska, we do HAVE our own oil, but bush wants to use every one elses oil before we use our own, i mean thats smart, BUT when shit like this happens WE NEED A BREAK. Im only 21 and I DO REMEMBER WHEN GAS WAS ONLY LIKE $1.30 $1.50, Per gallon and now for one gallon, and you know what that whole gallon is not going into your tank that piece of gallon which the rest has been evaporated and dripped on your acura paint, is what we are paying 3 dollars for, but you know what? if this was something WE ALL DIDINT need, then these prices would not go anywhere, I may not understand the whole concept of making gasoline from the barrels of oil we buy, but i think as a CONSUMER, one of the people who make up the crowd who keeps these companies MOVING, is getting ripped off, and i dont see this shit to be fair, i see it as "Price Gouging"

That was my rant for the morning, now im going to get back to work,

Gas in Essex County NJ is from $2.99 to $3.25 for 93 octane go-go juice.

Expect gas to go up for the next two weeks.

After that there might be shortages depending on the refinery situation in the dirty (and unfortunately devastated) south.

I can't blane G.W. Bush - he cannot control oil prices. But he can crack down on the hedge funds running up the pre-hurricane price of crude by at least $25 per barrel (it should be about $40 a barrel). BTW, the more the hedge funds push up the price of oil, the more $ is out there for terrorism..... think of that when you pay $3 for gas in a 12mpg SUV!

If you have oil heat in your home, get the delivery company to fill you up ASAP - you are guaranteed to be rationed this winter if things get worse.

dillons with 2 cents off per gallon.
i spent 100$ for groceries there and got a coupon for 10c off a gallon last week--im waiting till both my vehicles and my lawnmower run on fumes before i use it.
better yet ---forget the lawnmower ill cut my lawn with scissors .....

P.S. with the reserves in alaska there are multiple activists groups appealing the tap due to some animal BS ( i just came down from alaska)

he cant control gas prices any better than he can control the weather. Opening the oil reserves will do nothing to the prices. its a VERY short term fix. Oh and for your information the reserves have been opened to help durring katrina. WOW look at those prices come down.

this needs to stay on topic or get :locked: there are too many gas threads in OT

Hey now guys, calm down i know this is a touchy situation for all of us but this a good example of why the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

AINT FUCKIN UNITED, CAUSE EVERYONE ALWAYS GOTTA DIFFERENT OPINION ON SHIT AND WANT TO DO SHIT THEIR WAY WHEN WE CANT

EVERYONE HAS TO WORK TOGETHER AND FIND A "FIX" OR A "MIDDLEGROUND" WE HAVENT FOUND IT YET

HELL, I DONT LIKE BUSH NO MORE THAN I LIKE HAVING DIARRHEA BUT HE'S OUR

PRESIDENT AND WE HAVE TO DEAL WITH WHATS GOING ON RIGHT NOW, SO I

MEAN INSTEAD OF ACTING LIKE ASSHOLES, WHY DOESN'T AMERICA "UNITE" IN

TIMES LIKE THIS? THATS WHY THESE TROOPS SHOULD BE RIGHT HERE IN THE

UNUNITED STATES TO BRING THINGS BACK TO ORDER, MY DAD JUST GOT SENT OUT

IN THAT FUCKING SHIT AND I HOPE HE COMES BACK ALIVE, BUT SHIT HITS HOME

HARDER.

I'M NOT TRYIN TO BE NO ONE'S DAD HERE BUT GAS PRICES IS A MAJOR CONCERN

RIGHT NOW TO ALOT OF PEOPLE, BUT THINK OF THIS. WHAT IF YOUR CAR AND

YOUR HOUSE FLOATED AWAY AND YOU HAD NO TRANSPORTATION OR A PLACE TO

REST YOUR HEAD. SO NO MATTER WHAT KIND OF BULLSHIT WE ARE GOING THRU

NOW, THERE IS ALWAYS SOMEONE GOING THRU SHIT THATS WORSE.

Thank you fsttyms1.

Not the place to debate G.W. Bush and his adverse affects on the gas situation, especially if you can't do it intelligently offering only emotions and ranting as opposed to facts.

Because I live in Katrinas path I was told they can't raise gas prices here for awhile...? Is this true? $2.75-2.95 for 93 seems pretty cheap compared to most places.

For the americans here - welcome to Canadian Gas Prices

My gas station was at $1.25 for a litre!!

so since 1 US Gallon is 3.785 Litres

$1.25 x 3.785 = $4.73 per gallon

nice going bush!
