Gas Mileage Average

What is your average gas mileage?
I average 300 miles a gas tank regular driving, andmy best was 400 basically pure highway, I'm definetly not reaching the advertised 19 and 29 gas mileage by Acura, more like 17 and 21. Post your best and worsts.

I have 2000 3.2TL and have gotten as low as 18mpg in the city and as high as 31mpg on the highway (at a constant 80mph). I am not that thrilled with my city mileage but the highway mileage is great.

I'm usually about 22 in city and 30 in highway goin about 80-85mph... Today was pretty nice though.... I went 75mph on the highway for 255 miles and only used a half a tank... Gonna finish it off tomorrow and see how far it goes....

A consistent 24 mpg, with a 60/40 mix of city/highway.

well usually i get around 240/tank.

this past week tho i found it interesting, sat. night i went out racing and my friend with a GS-R and I went on the interstate and did 135mph+ for 2 minutes at a time for like 10 times. this is the best gas mileage i've got w/ 265 miles on this tank so far and i still have 1/4 tank to go!

Man, you guys that can't get 300 miles on one tank must be thrashing your rides! If I see the low fuel indicator at anything less than 350 miles on my TL-S, I'm disappointed!

just to let u know...all cars can't reach teh figure as they advertised...

they are using a different method to measure therefore 17 for city is pretty gd indeed~

i am having 24mpg lately..since it's warmer..

Depends on how I drive my car that week.

On average with a mix city and highway...22mpg

Most I got on freeway was 32.4 mpg.

Lowest I got was 19 or 20 mpg when I first put on the CAI.

Dude...that is still 25mpg (the light should come on at the 14 gallon mark)
I get that too with my 85/15 - highway/city mix.
Acura fuel economy sucks.....

Well, I wouldn't say Acura fuel economy sucks. I've put in ten tanks so far and am averaging about 25-25.5 mpg. I previously had a manual 1996 Maxima (190hp) and averaged 26-26.5 mpg. This is the exact same type of driving as I have not changed my driving route to work. Actually, I have been driving the TL-S harder, well, because it's faster and more powerful and I just can't resist playing with the new toy. So, I'd say for 1 mpg less than the Maxima, the extra 70hp is almost free!
Besides, reports are that some G35 drivers are getting below 15mpg with very few getting more than 22 or 23, so I'd say Acura is pretty good in the fuel efficiency department.

16-18 MPG, Depending on how many Mustang GT`s I have to race to work each day. 24-29 MPG, Depending on how many Lexus 300`s want to play on the Interstate. I-95, Sotheast GA, at the boarder. If you come down this way, forget you american express, but not your V-1.

I dont take note too much of the hiway vs. city mileage. My car only goes to and from work that has a even balance of both types of driving. I have been getting a sustained 28 mpg throughout the car history. I really cant complain about that overall. >200hp with nearly 30 mpg.
