Gas mileage- is this any good???

so I filled up today. After going 460km, I filled the tank, and it stopped at 41L. I managed to squeeze it to 42L.

So I did the conversion. I got 9.13L/100km which can be converted into 25.73 MPG.

BTW of this 460km about 70km was strictly in the city. I would think this seems good right???

lemme know guys.

this gas mileage sh*t has been making me paranoid, and these numbers may finally cure my obsession with the gas mileage.

thanks

I drive in Jersey City, NYC, and suburban NJ. I avg about 25MPG as well.

When i drove up to ithaca to visit my friend once, I was getting near 30MPG on pure highways.

I use 93 Octane from Getty normally ~25mpg

I used mobil/exxon visiting in ithaca ~29-30mpg

I don't think Mobil and exxon stations makes any better gas than getty. Just happend to be the brand availble at the time.

yeah, this car jumps in numbers from ctiy to hwy. i got 340mi off a 13.5 tank. and i get only 195mi off around a 13 tank. i guess the 3500lbs. uses more gas to accelerate. i guess the best thing to keep good miles with out giving up as much agressive florring would be proper schduled mantianence. But one thing i don't understand is if honda's can use regualr, how come the acura's can't use regular? Oh well maybe i should just stick back with a RSX-S
