Have you tried Seafoam? Its great.
you guys get ridiculous good gas mileage
i used to get around 250 all city driving before i hit the gas light
when i drive almost all highway the highest i hit was 350
i calculated it all, and i get around 16-17 mpg city, and 25-26 freeway

Half tank with 90 miles. The story continues....
Stupid question but does the use of Cruise and DVD nav make any significant diff to the mileage? I would have assumed not, atleast not a significant difference but someone just told me today that the Nav could do s*it like that. Ofcourse I'd rather ask one of you guys than some drunk guy talking inane. He also said Justin Timberlake wan NOT queer and George Bush was one of the smartest Prez's America's ever had. He also added that Brittney Spears would make a great mom.

90 miles on this tank and needle's still at "F". I did cram gas in it last time, though, so I'm sure that explains it.

90 miles and still on full...must be 100% Highway. And 90 at a halftank must be mostly seeing VTEC. Ive been driving easier and im getting 290 60highway 40city
My needle drops real quick after filling....sometimes after 30 miles it's down 1/8....do get 25mpg on 50/50 driving and 30mpg on 100% hwy. How much reserve do you all think is left when the light goes on? My tank took 12.5 gallons after 4 miles of driving when it went on. Also, I'm missing the moveable metal flap just below the gas tank neck....could this be contributing to a loss of backpressure or does the plastic cap seal it and the flap just a protector against foreign objects from falling in?
I get 425 miles per tankon my '02 tl. I have 103K miles on it and it is running like a champ. I am abou tto drop some Iridiums in it but may stick with platinums b/c they will last longer.

Well here is the email I got from NGK today so read it and lemm klnow what you think..
Hello,
The stock spark plugs in your vehicle are double platinum. These spark plugs are designed for improved ignitability and long service life. However the Iridium IX will provide improved ignitability over the double platinum, however the service life will be shorter due to the fact these are a single iridium design and not an iridium/platinum design. The iridium swill last approximately 40,000 - 50,000 miles.

Update: This tank is now at a little below 3/4 and 165 miles. This is not all highway, it's currently all city. The reason is because I believe I put about 19 gallons in. I filled up and it clicked and I managed 2.5 gallons in after the click. Probably not good for the car, though.
