I've gotten up to 35mpg on a long trip. I usually get 22-25 around town.

buddy there is no way you're getting up to 25 MPG in the city. I would assume that's with 65-70% highway driving right? No one on this forum has ever been able to accomplish those results, especially with all city driving. The rating on the TL is 19 MPG, so you're telling me you beat their numbers by 3-6 MPG??? Ok and where are you driving your car? Chances are you don't have your car setup perfectly (ala tire pressure, air filter perfectly clean 100% of the time, using synthetic oil and a reputale filter), and the climate doesn't cooperate 100% of the time for you to be achieving those numbers. My guess, you suffer from a syndrome called...in denial 24/7.

22-25 MPG in the city...guess again!!! Sorry guys, I'm just fed up of reading the dishonest figures when it comes to gas mileage on this forum...You guys are an awesome bunch, but the figures that have been coming out of people's a$$es in regards to gas mileage lately, can be described as nothing else but humerous!!!

He lives in Virginia, maybe our definition of city is different.
As for me I have red lights or stop signs every frikkin 7 houses.

My city75%highway25% combo is about 15-16 mpg

ya I mean when I say city, I freakin mean real city driving. A traffic light every 700m. I know that when I went to florida, their city roads that they define as city allow you to go 55 MPH, whereas most people go 60 or 65, and there's stop lights every 2-3 miles. If I was living there, my mileage would be in the mid 20's...cause that's like all highway in the city!

I don't think he ever said CITY, he said town which could be totaly different driving then in a major city. So his numbers could be accurate.
