FYI - Got New Rotors Under Warranty

Finally took my Acura in for service and had them look at my vibrating brakes. Told them to check out the rotors as they went bad around 20K miles (car has 30K now). They took a look and replaced all sorts of parts in my brake system. Now it stops like a champ and no more vibration when decelerating from 70mph. Cost = $0.

Now, how long before they start vibrating again? I love when defective parts are replaced with brand new defective parts!

I think you'll be good to go for another 2K miles! Just ordered some aftermarket rotors and pads for my baby. I'm tired of Acura's seemingly lame brakes.

Later,

LOL! Yeah, probably right. What rotors did you get and how much were they? Some cross drilled would look nice.

Decided to try the same setup as Mr. Hyde (I think it was him). Ordered from RaceConcepts and got their Cross-drilled and dimpled rotors with some Porterfield R4S brake pads. The stuff should arrive on Monday and hopefully I can get my dealer to install them either Thursday or Friday.

Oh yeah, I think the (front) rotors were $135.00 and the pads were $110.00.
