Function Form Type 2 vs Type 1
Function Form Type 2 vs Type 1
So I installed ff type 1 on my tl and what a difference from oem. Waaay stiffer than I thought. I'm considering trading out the type 1 for type 2, but my question is:
Do ff type 2 ride softer and not as harsh. I kinda miss that luxury of the tl with the soft suspension. But I love the looks of being dropped. I want that softness back and wonder if the ff type 2 is what I need to make that happen?

this is the same exact thing I was sayin to JJSSSHHA.
FF2 rides great, but FF1 no dampening sucks, cause u will have that bumpy ride which is annoying since our cars were born to ride smooth.

Compared to stock setup and the fact that ive never had a dropped car before they are extremely stiff to me. and it doesnt help that im riding on 215/35/19 tires
So are you saying the more 4x4 like i drive my car the softer they ride?

But yes the ride will be softer at 4x4 than slammed
^ eh?!?
the spring rates/preload don't change the lower you go since you're adjusting the height by shock body. not spring height.
last time i drove with 1.5 finger gap and tucking. they drove the same.

My front has a 1 finger gap and the back has 1/2 a finger gap if that makes sense lol.
