from what i hear/read, F2s of all type will go about 4 inches. the type 2s just have adjustables dampers, not a huge difference but different none the less.

what springs drop you 3 inches?

no one realistically uses the lowest setting of the type 1s. you will rub tires/scrape frame.

lol i should take a pic of the coils i took off and you show you slammed status, and you'll still have a shitload of threads left (i have about 3 inches left). these coils will literally put your car on the ground. they go lower than bags.

these coils will put your frame on the ground with ease!

But who the hell can drive around like that? LMAO

I add 1/4" of spring load to my front springs to make it feel stiffer so my Upper control arms wouldn't bang against my strut tower all the time.

^ i originally had half an inch of preload on the coils but it was just too stiff for me.. but it did prevent me from hitting my uca.. not all the time though.

but yeah... you cannot drive being on the lowest setting anyways..

basically, on top of the coilovers, there are two rings that hold the preloads for the springs. originally, if you didn't mess with the factory settings which is 0 load (no load at all), your ride would be however it's supposed to be.. in function and form type 1's case, a bit stiff but it's not horrible. now, if you choose to run stiffer, you would have to tighten the top two perches, which puts more load into the springs, making it stiffer.

they were some cheap ass drop zone they weren't suppose to go that low but you get what you pay for i guess but damn these F&F type 1s are sounding good as hell I am gonna get them for sure now the only problem now would be trying to ride with them in the lowest settings I can but that sounds like a good problem to me I wish I could get the the type 2s

has anybody found a cheaper than $580 the type 1s??
or the type 2s for less than $800??
