So I was driving back home this afternoon after a few errands and I came to a light where there are 3 lanes. The far right one, which I happened to be in, ends after about 75 feet past the light. In the next lane over was a silver ford focus. Usually, I'd just let it go and merge behind the guy in the next late.. that is until he starts yelling at me asking if i'm "driving my mom's car". It's a 2002, black TL.. wtf..so race on...

Well needless to say as soon as that light went green I was off and easily destroyed his 4 cylinder wonder...

Unfortunately, I made a mistake...

After I peeled off the line and jumped ahead of the guy in the focus in what merged to become the right lane, I moved over another lane to the left so the focus guy would be lined up with me at the upcoming red light. Unfortunately, the race seemed to interest the guy who was in the far left lane in a black Dodge truck. As soon as I took over the left lane, he hit the gas and jumped up into the right.

Now I'm sitting at the light and the truck pulls up next to me and the guy tells me he wants to race next. I figure no big deal since the next street is a 55 mph straight through the forest.

Its a long light so I start looking around and barely catch something on the hood of his truck..... I'm squinting over.... "Powered by Viper..."... what the hell... then it hits me "Oh shit"... I look back at the side of his door through my back window.. sure enough... Dodge SRT-10. The light goes green.... it wasn't much of a race. LOL... but I guess you learn something new everyday.

I don't see the point of spending $50 gradn on a truck. You can spend $50grand on a M3 and have so much more fun. Or even a Boxster, or a E500, or a 5seris, or a NEW RL!!!

 

try driving around with 2000lbs of stuff in the trunk... maybe the guy needs a truck..

 

yeah but see, THIS way, you can go really fast, and also (my personal favorite) RUN SHIT OVER...

 

Haha that's a great story. That guy in the truck must have totaly had you going at first. He prolly does it to people all the time. Anywho, that truck is freakin mean and I would rather have that anyday than an overmanufactured boxter It's totaly different from anything else out there (SVT Lightning) besides that nice kill on the Focus.... I guess.
