Fully synthetic ATF

Full synthetic ATF is a good idea anyhow. The only problem is you have to like flush your tranny twice, there's a whole lot of ATF that doesn't get drained when you drain the tranny. For example, there's usually about a quart or more in the torque converter.
For a full tranny solution, I would say get a tranny cooler, yes even in winter it's a good idea. Then you hook up the hose going back to the tranny to a bucket full of ATF, synthetic preferably, Redline is nice, and the hose coming out of the tranny to a drain bucket.
