I would think it does because if not, where are you supposed to put your full size when you get a flat......

It does not fit, I tried, the floor is raised up by about 3-4 inches. Unless you want to customize a trunk floor to make the full size spare fit, then sure!

Last time I had a flat, had to leave it in the trunk, not in the spare compartment. Just by looking, there isn't enough room. I wish there was though. Full size is better than those donuts.

Why?? those spares are over designed and are very safe. If you will need to drive on it for a longer period of time, its best to move it to the rear of the car though

i've seen plenty of people doing 85 on spare tires in cars way crappier. not that i would recommend it, but i don't think doing 55-60 on a spare is a big deal.

i had thought about having someone weld a new metal bucket into the compartment to accomodate a full size spare but never pursued it. i would imagine it could be done since the spare is in back of the gas tank. although it might lower the exhaust.
