Fuel Efficiency Mods
Everyone seems to talk about how they can get an increase in horsepower for the TL.
Does anyone know of what modifications I can do to actually increase fuel efficiency, even at the cost of a little bit of horsepower? What has the best result with the least drop in HP?
Thanks

That I know of and the only thing that worked for me is the haloplugs sparkplugs.

Other than that, the way you drive
PS: If you find something else let me know.

I called them and they said that it is not out yet. They are working on the release and it should be out by next week. They don't even have a price for it yet. You can read the installation instructions to see how it works. It is supposed to be mounted to a side wall inside your engine.

Make the car lighter. That is one way to increase MPG. Begin by tossing out the rear bench seat and front passenger seat. Then you rip out the sound insulation material. That stuff weights a ton. When you are about done the interior should resemble that of a NASCAR race car

1) Denso Iridium plugs
2) AEM CAI
3) Comptech Headers
4) Driving style.
When my Accord V6 was stock I could barely make 200 miles on a HALF tank of gas (about 27mpg) on straight highway driving.
After the plugs were installed I could get 220 on a HALF tank which was about 27.8 mpg on straight highway.
After the CAI was installed I can now get about 240 miles on a HALF tank which is somewhere around 28.5 mpg or so.
The Comptech headers will give you some more low-end gains so they'll increase your mileage as well.
And since all of these mods increase the efficiency of the engine they give you more performance but not at the cost of fuel mileage. Since it's more efficient your mileage actually picks up. So you can have your cake and eat it too - and the only cost is the parts (and labor)
City mileage also picks up a good bit as well, but since most of my driving is highway I don't have any numbers to share for mostly city driving.
