Front springs only?

I saw a while back that someone had installed just the fronts of either the H&R (sport or OE). I'm really just looking to get rid of the 4X4 look and don't really want to lower the whole thing anymore because of the winters out here. Any comments?

You're in luck... it's been done before!!

Actually, TUFF GONG recently posted information on this as he just did the H&R OE springs on the front only.....

Comptech springs give you the drop you are looking for.....It's only a 1" drop in the rear, and it tends to rake a little. In the rear you can't even really tell it's lowered (barely)

I wouldn't recommend just swapping out the front springs. Springs should be replaced as a set, front and rear. Each set of springs are matched. Let say you are taking a corner at moderate speed and you only changed your front springs. You will have severe understeer because your front is stiffer than the rear and your car just won't handle right. Do it the right way, change all 4 springs.
