hey im new here, but ive been reading some of the posts, and apparently the bulb chart says that there are 2 1157s for the front signals. However when i signal, it looks like there are 2 bulbs on each side(making 4). Im supposing the ones on top are the 1157s, but i have no idea what the bulbs behind the reflector are. can anybody help me with that?

 

they are type 168 wedge bulbs...like most the bulbs in the interior of the car.

 

thanks alot wilz...another question tho...im going to pop out the amber reflector in the fronts, and since it still doesnt look completely cleared with the amber bulbs inside, i wanted to change out the 1157s with those silver bulbs. what am i supposed to do with the amber 168s...are there any silvercoated bulbs for those?

 

ok...the bulbs im talking bout ARE NOT the small wedge bulb directly behind the reflector. im talking about the larger bulbs behind it(looks like there are two of the same size and model i think). I think they are both 1157s, which means that there are a total of 4 1157s in the front? correct me if im wrong or just seeing things.
sorry i know i could take the bulbs out and look at them, but im just too freaking lazy.

 

you're jus seeing things...you're probably seeing the reflection of the bulbs in the chrome housing...
there are only 2 turn signals, and 2 wedge bulbs total in the front

 

oh and also, the wedge bulbs aren't amber. they are clear, and when lit, give off a yellowish light. so if you don't mind the yellow light, then after u take out the reflector, you won't see any amber there.
