front sidemarker bulb.

i dont know what its called, the bulb that is above the nasty ornage strip we have in our headlight housing.

i changed it out with a polarg, and the color is no where close to being white as the stock hid color. Anyone change thiers out with a pretty close match? i know you cant match the color exactly, but this polarg bulb is just nasty.

i have too many different colors in the front. trying to match all of them up as closly as possible.

None of the superwhite turn sig bulbs will ever match your HID. They are at thier worst when not lite. I have tried Polarg, PIAA, Eurolite, APC, and Eaglite. The Eaglite produces the best white/blue hue when lite. APC superwhites were the worst......they just produces a yellow hue.

All of these bulbs look horrible when just the parking filament is lite, it produces a kinda brownish/yellow hues.

I never seen clear lens 1157 bulbs that emits amber. Those bulbs will emit yellow light.

APC Titianium bulbs and Silverstar bulbs are both silver coated over an amber color lens. Currently there aren't any real turn sig bulbs that lite up white either........the blue filter only block certain light frequency, so they come out more bluish/white. They do sell these so call "Superwhite" bulbs that have silver coating.

The only real bulb that would emit white light would be LEDs and they are clear. but most of these LED bulbs suffer from hot spotting. The light doesn't diffuse proper and concentrate in certain spots. They have yet to make a proper 1157 LED bulb. Most are very hard to see in day light and you will suffer from hyperblinking since LEDs use less wattage (unless you get some resistors put in place)

I got all those bulbs that are chrome and light up amber from pepboys and I think the 194s side markers ones from ebay for a few bucks. Just cant get those hyper whites to match the 6000ks or look ok. Now it looks better with the cleared headlights. The chrome matches the inside housing.
