Unhappy Front Lip Scratched....

I scratched the fornt lip of the body kit....on the driver's side. Yes, you can see it, it's about 4in long. So how do I fix this.

Get it repainted or touch up paint.

My kit is all cut up too. I let my mom drive the car and she came back with a huge cut on the lip. At first touch up paint seemed to work fine, but then the paint on the kit started to spider web and peel. I decided to repaint it. And the body shop will do so with flex paint. They will do three regular coats and clear coat it. It will run me 150.

If you can't live with the scratch, re-paint the spoiler again.

I would just touch it up with touch up paint because eventually if you are not careful your lip will be scratch again.

Welcome to the club mine has been scratched over 2 years now.
I did the touch up paint thing & the paint peeled off. If mine was only 4 inches long mine goes up down across zig zag.

Maybe the best part about the body kit (besides the great way it looks, of course!) is that its real easy to take back off. Just drop it off at the body shop and drive home with car. No having to leave the car, or worrying about whether they will mask off the rest of it so as to avoid overspray, etc... When they are done painting it, you can go by and pick it back up, and install it back on in under 20 min!

yea i used touch up paint on my front lip. It all over the front. I want to repaint it, but it cost me 200 dollars, so I decide to wait and use the touch up paint for now. The other money i can use buying new mod. If all the mods is all done then I will think about repaint the front. One of the member is right. When you you repaint it, you have more chance of cracking the paint again why waist the money on that now. Use something that you need.

i fixed my big scratches by repainting half of the front spoiler by myself. go to www.paintscratch.com and order yourself and spray bottle with the color of your choice (with your color code) and wed sand the area by using increment grits of sandpaper and make sure everything is smooth and clean. Wash it down and let dry completely. cover the adjacent areas and spray a few coats. Let dry and spray some clear coat on and you are done!
