Front License Plate, on or off?

I`m already Debadged, and loving it! There is no requriment in GA or FL for it. It was mounted from the bottom, so no holes to fill. Plus it would be one less thing to aim at with a lasser gun. Looking for your opinion. On or Off? Thanks!

I've got mine off even though I'm required to have it on...I personally think the front end looks much cleaner without it.

Ditto. I am required to have one but took it off. wish I had done it sooner because I have an outline of the plate now on the bumper. Still looks better without the plate.

If your state doesn't require it, take it off--from the profile it gives the impression the front overhang isn't quite so looooonng.

I have mine off, in Cali. it's required, but a cop would have to be a real prick to give a ticket for it... but I've talked to people who's gotten tickets for it... I guess, I've been lucky.

Took mine off over the weekend. It is required here so I went to Kinko's for some ideas (thanks to whomever recommended that here). Took awhile to find someone who knew what that 'static charged' film was, but they are making me a replacement tag so to speak that I can put in the lower right corner of the windshield. It should be almost unobtrusive. Kinko's said the film would not stick to the bumper, and if it did, it wouldn't for very long. Since the static is only on one side, either front for a window, or back for an outside application, I chose inside. It's $25.00, and I didn't want to risk it being stolen, blown off, or losing its ability to stick with the elements. Will let you all know how it looks, should be ready Friday.

I took my plate off 1 week after I bought the car back in Jan/02.
I received 1 ticket Sept/02 for $55 when I parked it on a NYC Street in midtown. I usually park it in a garage near my office everyday.
I don't know what possessed me to leave it on the street that day.

Yet to place it back on.

Knock,Knock on wood.
