Cool front license plate

Who in NY/NJ don't have his front license plate on? I don't and I know I will be getting a ticket for it sooner or later. But I going to take that risk.

i never even considered it...definite cop magnet.

whats the fine? is it points?

i really hate the way it looks with the front plate. you can tell most manufacturers throw it on as an afterthought

Don't do it.

I took it off for like a month. Then I got pulled over for it. So I put it back on. That is definitely what attracted him. $44 out the door. No points.

Ok, I think I should put it back. No need to attract cops with my license plate and other illegal mods.

HAHAHA....

I tried this one:

I just got my front bumper painted and they forgot to screw the holes for the license plate.

He didn't fall for it. Got the ticket. It was a State Trooper on 280 East by Newark.

well i broke the liscense plate holder and put it in my trunk. when i got pulled over i told him some one backed into my car and broke it off and i havent had time to run down to the acura dealer (1hr 30+ min drive) to get a new one. he just simply told me to get it fixed as soon as i could. that has worked on every occasion now.

Damn Charles you're ruck like that? If that's the case then I am going to take off my license plate too. Then you can pay for my ticket too.

Seriously, it's not worth the hassle and the $$$.

I drove without a front license plate on my 2000 Buick Regal for three years without a problem.

Three months after I bought my 02 TL-S I got a ticket for it.

I have not had a front plate in 10 years and I've never been pulled over for it. It's a law in Ohio, but I don't think they care that much. Or I've just been extremely lucky.

I don't have one on any of my vehicles (RX300/Wrangler/TL-S)

To me...the look is worth the $50 fine someday!

victor-

I haven't had one on my Talon or (before that) Mercury for 10 years and have never been pulled over; for it or anything else. I asked a cop friend about it and he said it's not real high on the priority list.

Personally I think they look stupid.

Does anyone remember those SUV's that the cops would park on the side of the highway? They would open the rear hatch window and mount a speed gun and a camera to take a picture of the front of your car. Complete with license plate and the person driving it. Later you would get a ticket in the mail with a copy of the picture. With no front plate you can just smile your ass off and keep driving without a care.:flamer:

Yeah but the problem is that our cars attract to much attention. I think that is why I got pulled over for it. Im a 21 yr in a nice car. If you had a Lincoln TownCar or something a Grandma and Gramdpa would drive you woul never get pulled over.

My $.02................

I tried using the zip tie method and put the plate and holder just underneath where it would normally go. It looks a lot better, and I haven't had any problems.

If I were a cop I would prey on the old people. Only because I've been driving for 20 years and can count the compentent ones on one hand.

Yes it does look allot better. I despise the location of the stock plate, can't stand it. As for having no plates, I don't need any more help getting pulled over by the cops

TUFF GONG...doesn't look too bad. If I had to wear a front plate, I'd consider that.
