Heared in the local news today that starting from tomorrow Los Angeles police will check cars at parking lots for front licence plate availability. And give away fixing tickets. Not sure if it's just local for LA or for CA.

 

Yup, I heard the same.
Actually, they have been doing that for a while now.
and they are getting tougher by the minute.
So those of you guys who don't have the front plate off, you might think about it....

I believe they are targetting the Greater Los Angeles drivers, especially in the Hollywood area now that they have tons of 'photocops' on those streets.

That thread is the one that I started a while back when the cops first started the crack down. Apparently, they have issued another warning of the upcoming campaign which started today of further enforcement on the front license plate laws.

Basically, they are trying to get the ones that they missed during the first campaign now. Slap on your plates, ladies and gents!

 

I have my license plate on my TL since I bought mine...
