^Class my friend. If you want to put things in that perspective what's the point of manufacturing then??? Also we're talking about Acura and Honda so there's the point. There's a big difference.

I'll tell you one thing, I fell for it. I can see a difference in luxury when you compare a Toyota and Lexus....Take a fully loaded accord and tl, the difference...Acura really needs to step there level of luxury up some. They can't compete with Lexus or Infiniti. The whole JDM thing is not for every one. If you don't like it,thats fine but don't criticize.
If you really don't think there's no difference between Acura and Honda, go valet an Accord and a TL together. Guess who's going to get the better spot out front? (Well, assuming there's no Ferraris or Bentleys rolling up.)
You're comparing USDM Acura to JDM Honda. That's stupid. They are totally differnet markets. Now if USDM Acura was sold as JDM Acura for less, then it would be stupid for us to fall for it. But comparing USDM Acura to a brand that doesn't even exist in Japan? First off, you don't live in Japan. Second, Japan doesn't have Acura. Thus it's not a valid comparison.

The Lexus IS300 is the Toyota Altezza in Japan, the Infiniti G35 Coupe is the Nissan Skyline in Japan (not the Skyline GT-R) ... there are pretty much matches for every Infiniti in the JDM Nissan lineup and the same for JDM Toyota/USDM Lexus. The TL isn't marketed as the Honda Accord in Japan, the 2nd gen TL is marketed as both the Honda Inspire and Honda Sabre in Japan, pretty much the same exact cars both targeted at the luxury market but in different marketplaces.
Honda was the first to market their luxury automobiles in the USA with a different "luxury brand" name, but both Toyota and Nissan quickly followed.
Infiniti had the I35 which was more of a rebadged Maxima than the TL is a rebadged Accord. Lexus does a better job trying not to rebadge but you can see where their cars share the same platform when you look at the Camry/Avalon and the ES300.
If you want to compare a fully loaded Accord to the TL, lets compare the 2nd Gen TL (99-03) to the 6th(?) Gen Accord (98-02)...
Accord - Looks the same no matter what, the 4cyl $16k version to the $25k fully loaded Accord EX v6. 200hp 3.0L v6, no heated seats, no in dash changer, 4 speed automatic w/o SportShift, 15" Alloy wheels, average quality leather seats, traction control only, 6-speaker non-BOSE audio, no On-Star, no heated side view mirrors, no cup holders (?? couldnt find a picture of an accord with cup holders and it isnt mentioned in the features), 4-wheel multi-link suspension, no-HID headlights, no memory seats or memory side view mirrors, no auto-dimming rear view mirror
TL - Looks different than the Accord, immediately says the car is a luxury vehicle versus the Accord, Heated Seats, optional GPS Navigation, 3.2L v6 (225hp or 260hp in Type S), 5 speed automatic with Sport Shift and Grade-Logic control (4 speed with Sport Shift in '99), 16" Alloy Wheels (17" Alloys on Type S model), Higher quality leather seats, Vehicle Stability Assist available for Type S model, 6 speaker BOSE Audio with subwoofer, On-Star Available for 2003 models with Navigation, heated side view mirrors, cup holders, 4-wheel independant suspension, HID headlights, Memory seats with seat position, and side-view mirror position, auto-dimming rear view mirror, increased room inside for passengers and drivers
There's probably even more features listed here that I failed to mention ... But as you can tell from this list, there's more to the TL than just being an Accord clone. If you were comparing a fully loaded Maxima to a I35 I would agree with you, but in this case I believe the TL offers more in terms of luxury features than a fully loaded Accord can.
Oh - To stay on topic, I believe you can find JDM parts for your Honda Inspire from both www.kingmotorsports.com and www.aj-racing.com

IMO- putting a honda logo on an acura IS downgrading.....the reason you MIGHT say that nissan isn't like infiniti, and you MIGHT be right, is because acura is dumb....they SHOULD make their cars as good as infiniti's and their hondas like nissans. acura's behind. i'd rather buy an infiniti than an acura. my opinion....
for the ppl who ask why put a "H" emblem on their TL, well i think heres the answer
ppl are into customizing their cars in different styles...theirs all types of styles: JDM style, drifter style, VIP style, etc....ppl that are into the JDM craze want their cars to be as Japanese as it can get
lets say you own a civic hatch all JDM'd out, are you gonna put on a JDM intake with less power gains or a AEM with more power gains? if your into the JDM theme then youd go with the JDM intake even if that means sacrificing for less power
so with the TL's these JDM fanatics dont give a crap if others think it downgrades the car, its all about the theme and style in which they're making their cars
