Question Front Grill Removal...

I bought a red plastic notebook to cut out and put behind the "A" symbol on my front grill...I took out 4 of the 10mm bolts around the grill except for the fifth one in the middle connected to the hood latch...It just keeps on spinning no matter what direction I turn it, of course you have to turn it to the right to loosen it but it just keeps spinning...I dont want to break the damn thing but what do I do...By tha way, props to Neil for showing me this...Shyne

You turn those bolts as well as most bolts counterclockwise to loosen them (that's to the left if you're going by the top of the bolt).

They're plastic bolts, so they can be easily stripped. If it keeps on turning, chances are that it's stripped already and you can take it out by turning the counterclockwise and pulling simultaneously. Try putting some glue in the screw hole when you want to reattach it.

If a red emblem's your thing, looks like you have a cheap and easy solution.

yea but if you are looking forward at the grill while the hood is fully open, you would have to turn it to the right...anyways, I attempted to cut tha bit@h off today and pinched the fu@k out of my hand with my plyers...the damn thing wont come off because now it is too short to cut off and its stuck there, im in worse shape because it looks messed up...It looked better than when i started messing with it...At any rate, I went to tha dealership already and had that screw and plastic bolt ordered...they were the ones that suggested me cutting the damn thing off...now there is no way to remove my grill unless I take a dremel to it...Any suggestions, im screwed...I dont wanna break the grill...Its not noticeable, should I just leave it alone???Shyne
