Front end noise

Front end noise
2003 TypeS with 70K has a "rubbing" type sound coming from the front end. Only hear it when going slowly and turning the wheel. Doesn't seem to correlate with applying the brakes and does not matter which direction I turn the wheel. Otherwise drives very well and brakes well. Tires are good and inflated correctly and wearing normally. Thanks in advance for any ideas.

a tire? bearing? part of the fender liner not attached and touching the tire?

I have the same sound on my 03 TL-S. I thought it might be the tires,so I rotated them, no change. Then I replaced the brakes and rotors (since the rear brakes needed replacing) and it has not gone away. Struts are NOT leaking.
It sounds like something is rubbing, and you can 'feel it - i only hear it at very slow speeds, no change when applying brakes or turning. I am thinking it may be a bearing but it has not started 'growling' and I had the noide for about 20,000 miles now.
So at this point, I just turn up the radio and try not to drive too slowly !!
But seriously, if anyone has any ideas, I'd appreciate it.
