friggin deer!

So I was driving back to Carbondale for school and on the way there was a big chunk of a dead deer in the middle of the road and it was just unavoidable so my last minute thinking told me to just keep going and dont try to swerve because it my throw me out of control if I run it over so i just tried to balance it out and go over the middle and well you could imagine it was smooth. Anyways, when I got to Carbondale I got out the car and saw that the drivers side of the rear bumper was was pulled out of place and the drivers side muffler was yanked from its brackets and pulled outwards and now its just hanging there. What i need to do to fix it it get it pushed back and put it back in the rubber brackets. I tried doing it on my own but its just too hard to push back. I ran the car to see if i could hear any breaks in the piping but everything sounds good. Is there anything else I need to worry about and anyone have an idea of how much they are gonna charge me to get the muffler back into place at a place like meineke or sumthin

owned if you were lowered

Take some pics of the damage... Probably only change the rubber hangers and that's it. They don't cost more than 10 a piece a believe...

Just lube up the rubber hangers and slide it in. Much easier if you have your car on a lift.

I can't imagine they'd charge much to do this but I could be wrong.

Good luck.

Spray WD40 on the rubber hanger and see if you can get it on. Judging by the amount its hanging, the pipe may be bent though.

Yeah, exhaust work is generally cheap, I'da been screwed in that situation with my shit dropped... When I had 350z I was in the forest driving in the rain and I buck came out of nowhere ran straight into the side of my car, got his antlers stuck between the rear view mirror and the pillar that holds the windshield, I looked him in the eyes for a good 3 seconds before my mirror ripped off and he ended up under my rear left tire.... it was intense, destroyed the whole left side of my car.. haha its kinda funny now though, feel bad for the guy but I don't know how you run into the side of a car when i'm goin like 30
