I got mine & it said it found 6 history records for my 2000TL.
The Source was D.C. Motor Vehicle Dept. with the original Odometer Reading of 10miles. This was the actual miles that the car was deliverd to me when I picked it up new & what was on the title. The general comments just say title or registration issued First owner reported registered as private vehicle. It goes on with dates for each year that I have owned the car & says title or registration issued by DC. DMV. It says that the car has NO manufacturer Buyback (LEMON) reported to CARFAX or sever accidents reported from DMV. I should have done the report for my 1990 ACCORD LX or my 1994 ACCORD EX I traded each car in but I still know the VIN # I was the original owner for the cars. I would like to know if they are still up & running. I saw my 1990 ACCORD a month after I got my 1994. I was on the way home from work & the car pulled out in front of me at a redlight. I knew it was my car because I had a lot of factory acessories like foglights, spoiler, optional wheels, door trim, mud flaps. Some lady was drivng it but I could not catch up to her from the light.

Interestingly enough I ran my TL for kicks and it didn't show the major accident in July which was reported to the DMV. Sounds to me prospective buyers of cars should put more stock in a bodyshop specialist reviewing the car for previous accident involvment than in the carfax report.

Just run the report... still works. However, CARFAX is known to have problems - when I got my previous car (used), registered it and then run a report a week later, it showed MY registration with 30000 miles MORE than what my title showed. Someone hit a wrong key while entering info I guess...
