This freakin a/c filter
I did some searches because I want to change my a/c filter... but I'm having problems gettin the glove box out. I see that little shock looking thing, and I can disconnect it with a key, and then pop it back in later, but I cant figure out what to do next, and the directions I found here just didn't help out at all! Can someone who's done it tell me exactly what I need to do?
Thanx,
Ryan

I used this guide to change out the filters. Don't force anything.
Someone else posted this long time ago and it's accurate.
open the glove box. on the right side you will see a shock holding the glove box in place, remove the screw
see those tabs in each top corner of the box that prevent it from falling forward? remove those by putting pressure on the back side of them (this is a little hard the first time)
remove 2 screws at the bottom corners on the outside of the glove box (one in each corner) the box should come out.
Cut the tabs (i think they’re labeled) for the square shaped plastic, filters behind it, replace the filters. put it all back together
i think i covered everything
