Found a Rim fixer in NJ

To all my fellow members of im a dumbass who hit a curb or pothole club...

I found a very reputable rim repair shop in NJ. Its called USA wheels in Fairfield, NJ on Bloomfield Ave. Im gonna drop two rims off on wednesday. Turn around time is about a week, give or take a few days. Ill keep you guys posted.

Nice that you found it, but I don't see why you;d be a 'dumbass' for hitting a pothole or curb...sometimes **** happens and if your unfamilair with the area you don't know where the potholes or hard bumps are. I think I know where every pothole or cut in the street is in my town and a radius of like 50 miles

i guess your right.... i want to file a report with the highway authority but i think id be wasting my time. lets just hope it doesnt happen again

great find! I work only 5 minutes away from the shop. So far the stock rims have been holding up.

One of my stockers took a pretty good hit and is in a shop down in MA. About a two day turn around. I'm not shure what the outfits name is but I'll find out if any MASS peeps are interested. My tire guy said they have had great done by them.

Not sure if this is going to help you but mention you know Richy from Rumbello's automotive in whippany... he might do a little better on the price

Iggy,
I need to fix a rim (18"). I hit a pothole on Storrow Drive going about 60. Where is the shop you're thinking of? I just had another rim fixed at New England Wheels and Wheelcovers (www.neww.com) in Hampton, NH and they did a good job. $85 to fix my 18", $15 to mount and balance the tire, and $10 to ship back to me. TOTAL $110. What's your guy charge?
