Hey everybody, any help with this question would be HUGE help! I'm trying to make a strip of LED lights I recently bought into footwell lights. To start, I have the strips of the LEDs and 14-18 gauge wire taps. I want the lights to come on when I turn my headlights on. I had read that people had wired them to the heated seats light. That sounded perfect to me so I am trying to do that. My question is, which wire do I need to tap to make this happen? I believe I counted 5 wires in the harness. If anybody has done this, where did you ground it too? Or does anyone else have any other suggestions? Any help is great! Thanks in advance!

 

I got mine tapped in to the Dome light so they come on when somebody opens de the door or when I unlock the car with FOB.



The power cables for the dome light run trough the Passenger seat belt cover, Typical Black and Red cables..
