I'm not sure which direction you're talking about but mine is hooked up so the fogs turn on w/o the headlights but with the parking lights.

I know I have followed them and it works fine. But I'm biased because I wrote up the instructions. I do know that several others on here did the mod with no troubles and it takes less than 20 minutes start to finish. If you have any other questions email me at pianoman41@yahoo.com

Thanks to CarFreak???? LOL, guess who helped, supplied the parts, tools, the driveway and showed him how to do it?

Anywayz it was very very easy, if anything the instructions were too long listing every tiny step as well. Most important point, DONT CUT any wires, just tap into them. It took less than 10 minutes from start to finish, and cost less than $2 for three of the taps. I think its a great mod especially for me with the remote start. Before it would be hard to tell if the parking lights were on and the car was running if it wasnt dark out. Now I leave the fog switch on all the time they turn on also, and I can easily tell now if the car is running or not.

Is speeding legal?

I have only my fogs on when I drive (sometimes). I've passed by cops before but they have not harrassed me about it yet.
