Yeah I saw the same thread also, but it seems like he tried it for a couple months with no problems. Someone said that the effects are long term as in 2yrs, where it damages the wiring.

Just installed mine, both 9006, and 9005. Check out my Gallery. Took all of fifteen mins. to install.

Getting a set of the 9005s for free. He said keep the 9006s. I'll bring them to the next NJ meet if anyone wants them.

Everyone makes mistake, they were shipping a lot of orders that day. It's how they deal with their mistake that makes me keep buying from them.

in theory you shouldn't have to replace the fog light housing ever. If you end up having to, then something is either wrong with the output of the bulb, or the way you installed it.

When he said replaced sooner, he ment the bulb needs to be replaced sooner since higher wattage means it wil shorten the life of the bulbs. He didn't mean you have to replaced the housing.

higher wattage also means chance of overheating the wiring hence possibility of melting (but not the actual housing itself).
