Hey guys,

I love my car ...but everyday i look at is i find something new broken or scratched . Well on top ofthe cracked front bumper, cracked windshield, scratches on the rear bumper...I found today that the passenger side fog light glass was a hole in it and is cracking.(whomp whomp for me)

I did some research on this forum and found that a lot of people are using Lexan lense to replace the broken glass.

1) i would like to know where i could find/purchase precut lexan lenses for my 02 tl fogs

2) If it is easy to buy the sheet of lexan and cutout the pieces yourself...what thickness do i need? and what approxmiate size (12" x 12" sheet or 12" by 24")

3)If it can be done by myself....please post a step by step procedure

oh yea i also got an estimate from a local Acura dealership bodyshop for a new front bumper cover. (new bumper, paint, and labor) $675!!!!

Be sure to use MR-10 and accept nothing less. Reason is MR-10 is extremely scratch resistant, unlike regular cheap plexiglass. Beware of Jsalinas05 on ebay!! I was sold some cheap plexiglass by him/her called Hydrod. It did not even fit and scratched just by running your fingers over it!!

I already read that thread...and did do a ebay search on Acura tl fog lexan lense. and did find that Jsalinas05 is sell some thing thats supposedlly lexan.

i wish Raj was still here but i understand he was kick off from what i read.

I ended up having a broken fog light lense as well. I bought a lexan sheet (12" x 12") to try to do it myself. I used a dremel to cut out the shape and heated the sheet with t a hot air gun to make it flex into shape. It wasn't that hard to do, besides it was only like $12 and you can make at least four with a 12" x12". If worst came to worse i would have ordered the lense on ebay. here is a link for the material
