What is the best way to get fog lights for a 99 tl and not look bad. is there any kind of fog lights acura offered for the 99 tl that would fit. i have a fog light kit now but i really dont want to cut holes in the grille or make the car look ghetto with cheap fog lights.

 

nope. acura never offered fog lights on the 99-01 TL. You will have to do custom work.
some have custom fitted the accord fog to fit

 

yeah i was wondering the same thing for my 99 that pic doesnt look to bad but i dont think its worth it unless it fits

You could search around for 99-01 inspire fog lights, would look SEXY

i might be selling my jdm inspire fogs and the mugen grill soon. just depends on how fast i can gather everything for the 03 conversion. BTW will the ballast/igniters of a 00 work on the 03 headlights.

 

Those will not bolt up to the stock bumper without major modifications. Would be a different story if you had the Inspire front bumper.

I just did the 03 conversion on my 99 and the body shop used the 99-01 ballast/igniters on my car not realizing that the 02-03 are different. You can use them but your gonna come into a problem with the cap at the back of the light to close them up. The cap for the 02-03 is different from the 99-01, it's smaller. So If I were you I would start looking into getting a set of igniters/ballast from the 02-03.

 

Where did you guys get the wiring for the fog lights? I have an 03 front end, but the fog lights aren't wired up cuz I dont know where to get the wiring kit from. I searched ebay and found TSX fog lights with the wiring harness, but would this fit on the TL? Can someone help please!
