Fog Lights

Does anyone have any suggestions for a new set of fog light bulbs that would look similar to my HID's or in fact be HID's. I like to use my fog's alot and I just can't stand the color difference between the HID's and the fog's. If you have any questions feel free to ask. By the way i still have the stock HID's 4100k i believe. Thanks for help

I have installed HIDs into my fogs. Other ppl say that these halogen brands razo or eagilites match pretty well.

03silvertl- i'm lookin around to do the same thing now....HID Fog lights. don't waste money on bulbs here's why....cheap ass bulbs like for $20, look like CRAP. You gotta buy good $100 PIAA bulbs for it to be good light.....i bought 3 of the PIAAs on my trek to matching the light to the headlights, and you know what?....i've spent like $250 on bulbs, and they STILL don't match.....so take some time look around, get a kit, or the components, and SWTICH TO HID...more light, better color, kick ass-ness....good stuff.

You want the best solution??? Stay with Stock!!!! After all the bulbs I decide to use, yellow, purple, max gold, eaglite, whatever brand they just blow soon after. Stock bulbs last super long so I just kept them for a while until I went with HID fogs.

I got a set of eaglites that match the OEM hid perfectly. Do a search on this forum. I don't remember who's the vendor for the the bulbs.

let me get this straight: if i convert my stock fog light bulbs to PIAA 9006 (51w = 3600k) star whites - in order to match my stock headlights ('02 TLS), they won't last as long??

Should i just keep my stock fogs b/c they'll last longer?

Give them a try and find out. I never specifically tried that one PIAA 9006 (51w = 3600k) star whites but from my experience is all the other aftermarket bulbs I bought sucked. Well they last for about 6 months and maybe a little longer. I think if I drive in such cold weather that it started to fog a little inside I could of gotten 9 months a year?

HIDs are definitely nice and since it is less heat, there is less chances of fogging inside. Of course it does cost $$ even the cheapest way out is about $175 to $200 even for new bulbs and used ballasts.

but personally i would say go for them, there is no halogen replacement for them, and i think its worth it because to get decent blubs your gonna end up paying 75-100$ might as well just go the extra and get hids
