Fog Light Question....

I hate when I am driving on the High Way and I come up behind and pass someone and they think that my brights are on so they feel the need to get behind me and turn there brights on. I was looking for some advice on what would either be a bright fog light or a very bright high beam so i could show them that what they tought were my brights were only my lows. I just get pissed when they think they are teaching me a lesson, just looking for advice on what lights would be good to replace what i already have in the fog and high beam category. Thanks.

hey how's it goin. a few things to do about this. (and what i do)....i have stock headlight bulbs, and i got PIAA 5200k xenon bulbs in my fogs. last week i aimed my headlights and foglights up, so i see all the road signs light up...i see everything now. as for high beams i got two bulbs from Midnightmoose.com, they were $20, but they're way too blue, and it's not as bright as the stock high beams.....dude- just change your fog bulbs to the PIAA 5200k bulbs, and leave your highbeams. aim your headlights up (do it at night so you don't aim too high).

and as for them "punishing you" i have 15% tint on my TL's windows, and 5% on my other cars windows, so no matter what they turn on behind me, it won't bother me at all.

sometimes since my lights are in people's faces, i get some flashes from them, i just pull on my brights, and they shut the hell up.

(if i seem a bit insensitive, i'm really not, i just can't stand SUVs like friggin hyundai SUVs shining their lights in my eyes). hope this helps. -shawn

Thanks for your info. Another question..to change your fog bulbs, do you have to take the bumper off or can you do it with the bumper attached? Just curious.

you don't have to take off the bumper-- either ramp the front of the car, or park on incline to make it easier (specially if you got a kit), then with a 10MM socket, take off the screw under the light (there's a little hole in the bumper for it). then put your hand up behind the fog light housing and push it out while you pry it out with your other hand from the outside. lemme know how it goes. hope this helped. -shawn

EDIT: Here are some pics of the lights, and the screw:
