The foglight housing is designed to dissipate 55W worth of heat. If you put in higher powered bulbs, you do so at your own risk.

Yes, on a hot day it may well melt the housing.You put 100W lamps in 60W fixtures, eh?
That's not a good idea. Why not buy 100W fixtures instead?
