I'll give my

That stuff is crap. It does not work. Think about it, it's a vinyl liquid patch. How is it going to prevent the leather from separating again? Answer, it won't.

If it really bothers you, take it to a leather repair shop who can patch it from underneath and keep it from splitting.

I think that's what the kit does. It comes with a patch in addition to the liquid vinyl, just that you have to do it yourself...

Save your money on that kit, and take it to a pro. Thats the only repair method that will hold up to use.

I had the same tear on the back of the passenger seat, and the dealer repaired it perfect. Can't even tell where it was.

I think STUFF or MAXIM or one of those kinda magazines did a review on it and they concluded that it was indeed a POS. I got a similar tear in my driver seat. About 1/2" tear. I'm looking to get it professionally done as well. POS 'fleather'.

Just decided to ignore the small tear.

oh, and to make the tear less noticable, I colored in the white material showing through with a small black marker, so atleast it's less visible. At some point I tried to see if some professionals could repair it, but every place kept giving me very high prices...

Take it back to the dealer. My driver side seat actually scuffed in two places and started to rip open. Looked like I sat in the seat with a screwdriver (but I didn't). Took it bak today and they said they will schedule me in to have it fixed. Hopefully replaced or I will be pissed.
