Fixed gas gauge, But....
I made a post a week or so ago about my gas gauge being stuck at 1/2 tank. Well I got the gauge fixed. It took me 2 trips to the dealer to get it fixed. The first trip they replaced the sending unit and that did not work. I took it back the second time and they replaced the fuel/temp meter whatever that is. They also put my pulleys on for me for $91.58. The good news is my gauge works and my pulleys are on for a good price. The bad news is my SRS light is on and my oddmeter did not have any miles on it. When I took the car in it had 13114 miles on it. Thats going to screw up my registration and when I get it inspected. There going to think I rolled back the oddometer. I am calling the dealer 1st thing in the am. I'll keep you posted.

it looks like they replaced your whole cluster. I think they shouldv'e just replaced that one gauge face instead of the whole thing. I wouldn't even have left the lot without my old gauge cluster. then, i can do some handy work at home.

The removed cluster goes back for re-man and eventually becomes a service unit. The dealership most likely would not have let him have it since they are required to return it.
Also, if they replace the cluster including the odometer, there should be a sticker certifying that the cluster was replaced at a given mileage. The sticker is usually placed on the drivers door or door frame.
