fitting Type S airbox on a base TL

If it was an 02 or 03 base TL it would be pretty easy but because they restyled the front bumper and quarter panels, I'm thinking it might not fit.
For the 02 and 03 base TL the only issue I could think of is you'd need to make a coupler to go from the 3" piping of the Icebox to the 2.75" diameter of the base throttle body. Should be easy to do that.
But again the 99-01 TL and 02-03 TL have different front ends so the Icebox unit might not line up properly in the engine bay.

i know you want the stock airbox, i'm just referring to the icebox b/c i know that they are different for tl-p and -S

Remember that the Type S also has that secondary throttle for VSA. The piping from the stock TL-S box won't be long enough to reach a TL-P throttle body.
Are you looking for just the airbox? or the whole thing including resonators?
