I've had my TLS for barely a month and some a**hole already scratched my driver side door. The chrome handles are also deeply scratched :-( It was a very loose parking spot with plenty of space so this is pure negligence [frown]

This is the 6th time it is happening to me in LA (between 3 new cars) and not a single time have I had a note or anything... I guess there are a lot of scumbags living in the Los Angeles area because I have lived in other parts of the country (small towns though) and have **always** recieved notes.

I am so pissed because there is nothing I can do... I guess we all have to deal with the scum out there!!

 

Sorry to hear that-- I cringed reading it.. Hopefully it's something a body shop can take care of fairly easily.
Yup, lots of punks out there so it's bound to happen sooner or later to all of use.. in your case, unfortunately, it had to be sooner...

That sucks...is it through the clearcoat only or all the way through the paint? If it's the clearcoat only a good detail shop should be able to fix it.

 

Trust me, I am feeling your pain. I found a ding on my right rear passenger door beside the door handle. It's not very noticeable to the none owners but it is an eye sore to me. Coincidentally this also happened in LA county. I have to agree with you, too many freakin scum bags in LA!!! My poor TLS I will take my car to the dealer and see if they can unding it...wish me luck!
