What should my first mod be? Im deciding from either a CAI or a drop. What do you guys think?

Are the noname springs on ebay good? For example Springs on EBAY

Or CAI?

i would stay away from those ghetto ebay intakes and springs, you get what you pay for

i heard that you can make the ghetto intake better if you add a KN filter to it..plus theres like 20-40 shipping

go to your local performance shop, establish a good relationship, and after a while you should be getting nice hookups on brand name parts and installs

Get decent springs. H&R are good price / good quality. You can also go with Tein springs ... I'm leaning towards Teins (not coilovers, just springs) for that much $$$ to spend on a mod.

CAI might sound good but actual performance gains is marginal.

Those ebay cai are fine. It's tubing & a filter. If your worried, buy a 3" k&n filter to use instead of the ebay one. I'd go with a cai first. Performance before looks. Just my

ya they are fine. but once you pay for shipping and the K&N filter the total cost will be nearly $100...so you wont save much if any from a name brand intake (used) I got my AEM V2 for $190 shipped...about half the new price and WAY better than the ebay styles

personally I would start with the suspension and brakes maybe intake (cai), the car is pretty fast already, I would make it handle and stop better before I make it go faster,

i would say get some nice springs (H&R sports, 1.75" front and 1.5" rear drop), and/or brake pads (EBC greenstuff, Hawk, endless, etc.)

not too expensive, looks great (the drop), and car will perform better.

ive just started modding my car heres my list

window tints-225
get a new deck plus throw in my 12s

after that my plan is

exhaust
get new rims this summer
springs

my first concern is looks and beat because i feel this car is pretty damn fast already (my car before this was a 140hp honda accord)

once i get my job this summer i will start throwing more money into performance like headers, pulleys, v2
